During his five years in DC, Boudreau racked up 201 wins with the Caps, and an overall record of 201-88-49; his 201 victories are the second-most for a coach in franchise history, trailing only the late Bryan Murray (343). Trotz comes in at fourth (and trails Ron Wilson by just four for third place) and is just 13 wins shy of Boudreau, with a nearly identical record of 188-80-34 in his four seasons.
…of course, as most Caps fans (and just about every non-Caps fan) will point out, their combined number of games past the second round of the playoffs? Zero.
