It has been and continues to be a big weekend of hockey, even though it’s the first weekend without the Caps since October…sigh.
With the Bruins downing the Leafs in overtime last night, the second round gets underway in the East this afternoon, while the West wraps up round 1 later this evening with Game 7 between the Dallas Stars and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Meanwhile in Hershey, the Bears jumped out to a commanding 2-0 series lead last night over the Phantoms (with an efficient 5 goals on 16 shots) and will continue their quest for a repeat on Wednesday with Game 3 in Lehigh Valley.
