- From Elias: Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby posted his fourth shutout of the season with a 1-0 win against the Flyers on Wednesday. Holtby’s four shutouts equal his career high for one season, a mark he set in 2012-13 and repeated in 2013-14. He’s the second goaltender to register at least four shutouts in each of three (or more) seasons for Washington. Olaf Kolzig did that six times, in every season from 1997-98 through 2002-03.
