4 – Number of penalty minutes picked up by Braden Holtby in last night’s overtime loss, as the Caps’ goalie was nicked for two minors in the span of four minutes against the Flyers. That brings his career total in penalty minutes up to a whopping 15, and marks just the second time he’s had more than two minutes in penalties in any game (the last time being his “fight” against Ray Emery, also against the Flyers).
The last Caps goalie to earn as many as four minutes in penalties prior to Holtby was Olie Kolzig, who did so back in 2007 (one of three times for the fiery netminder).
