Over the next eight Fridays, our pals at FOCO will be releasing a new Alex Ovechkin “Gr8 Chase” bobblehead to commemorate every hundredth goal Ovi has scored in his illustrious career, starting with goal #100 from back on October 12, 2007. On the ice, it looked like this:

Next week? Goal #200 and so on. You get it. When we’re all said and done (for now… Goal #900 is still a couple years out), the set will look like this:
Different uniforms, different hairstyles, different dental presentations… alas, the passage of time.
So here are some salient details:
- Each subsequent bobble in this eight-week collection will be individually numbered out of only 308 units – get ’em while you can!
- There is a bobblehead set available on the website of all eight bobbleheads, so you can make sure you secure all of ’em in one fell swoop, but there are only 24 such sets available for purchase (when those sell out, you can still buy any and all of them individually, provided those haven’t sold out, of course).
