Japers’ Rink is currently looking for new contributors to help cover the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals (…yeah, that’s still fun to write) for the 2018-19 season. An ideal candidate would have excellent writing skills, the time and ability to commit to regular contributions, a sense of humor, and of course, a passion for the Caps and hockey in general.

Be sure to include your full name in the email, and feel free to include links to any of your previous work (if applicable, but certainly not required).
Please note that these contributor positions are on a volunteer basis at this time – however, this is a great way to get your work out in front of a large audience and can be a useful stepping stone to bigger and better things (including on our site). Also, while the site is fully credentialed to cover the team, the expectation is for the majority of contributor coverage will be done from home… though there’s room for growth there too.
