Well, given that the Capitals have literally nothing to play for, I suppose this was bound to happen.

The Islanders’ Devon Toews sprung Valtteri Filppula on a breakaway, and Mr. Vampire Name beat Pheonix Copley clean to make it 1-0 New York after two.
