Kuznetsov, who added his 18th primary even-strength helper of the year (three off Jonathan Marchesseault’s League-lead) last night in Brooklyn, also leads the NHL in primary assists per-sixty at fives over the last three seasons.

Evgeny Kuznetsov assisted on three goals for the Capitals in their 7–3 win over the Islanders in Brooklyn. Kuznetsov’s points were the 249, 250th and 251st of his five-year NHL career. He ranks fifth in career points among NHL players who debuted in the 2013–14 season, behind Nikita Kucherov (325), Nathan MacKinnon (291), Johnny Gaudreau (284) and Sean Monahan (279).
