The Noon Number: Two by Two

13 - Number of games this season in which a Capital has scored at least two goals, including last night’s outburst by Justin Williams. That’s the most multigoal games in the League and puts the Caps three ahead of the two teams tied for second place, St. Louis and Toronto (10).

Williams became the eighth Cap to join the multigoal-game club this year, also a League-high total (moving them into a tie with the Predators). Marcus Johansson and T.J. Oshie lead the way with three multigoal games apiece, Alex Ovechkin is right behind with two, and Andre Burakovsky, Daniel Winnik, Jay Beagle, Nicklas Backstrom and now Williams each check in with one.
