The Washington Capitals got into a few fights at Verizon Center this past year. For the whole year, I always felt like I couldn’t quite get any decent shots. Sometimes linesmen were blocking my line of sight, sometimes the fights were in the corners where I didn’t have a good view or there was some kind of operator error. This gallery isn’t meant to make a statement on fighting, it’s just what it looks like from where I’m sitting on that particular night.
