Igor Shesterkin made the save of the night on Dylan Strome…only problem is, it ended up not being a save. (FWIW, it was a lot funnier when the Caps still held the lead.)

So close to being a perfect save from Shesterkin, and still amazing work from him, but it went over the line. Strome gets the PPG and puts the Caps up by one. #ALLCAPS

Has Ethen Frank finally found his place on the Caps’ roster? [THW]
With Ryan Leonard making his return to the lineup, Ivan Miroshnichenko was sent back to the Bears. [Caps]
Logan Thompson continues to be among the best, if not the best, goalies in the league this season. Er…last night notwithstanding. [THN]
