Capitals Acquire Timothy Liljegren

Per Chris Johnston, the Caps have acquired defenseman Timothy Liljegren from San Jose, return TBD. Liljegren was previously teammates with Rasmus Sandin in Toronto, and the two Swedes remain good friends.

Update: The Caps sent a 2026 4th-round pick, acquired from Vegas, to San Jose for Liljegren per the team):
