Plus: The Caps played a very gritty, solid game against one of the better Western Conference teams and came away with a point, only failing to come up with a goal in the shootout. Not a bad performance overall – plus, one more Ovechkin goal on Marc-Andre Fleury at home before MAF hangs ’em up.
Minus: Really unfortunate swing of events that saw a Tom Wilson goal get washed out (correctly) at one end and then the Wild come back and tie up the game basically on the next shift.
