The 4 Nations Face-Off, and related time off, are looming. Before the Capitals can head off to vacation and rest up for the playoff push, however, they’ll have one final test facing them in their traditional Super Bowl Sunday matinee. This time, it’s a visit from Utah, a team they beat handily back in November but which has downed two of their last three Metro opponents in matching 3-2 overtime wins.
Most important for the Caps will be keeping focus before the break and making sure they close out the first part of the season on a strong note.
