A wild night in DC back on Monday saw the Caps (eventually) come out on top over the Ducks, thanks in large part to a three-goal, five-point effort by Justin Sourdif and a big night all around for the team’s current, fresh-faced second line. With Tom Wilson and Aliaksei Protas still on the shelf, that line will likely stay together tonight, and the recall of Brett Leason brings the forward total up to 12 again as they prepare to face the visiting Stars.
Meanwhile on the visitor’s side, Dallas is mired in a six-game losing streak, including a 6-3 loss last night to Carolina…so the Caps need to be ready for a pissed off team hungry for a win.
