After almost two weeks on the road, most of it out west, the Caps now head back east for one final stop on their five-game road swing with a visit to Canada’s capital city.
They’ll face the tough task of going up against a Senators team that has been almost as hot as the Caps – 7-2-1 in their last ten, compared to Washington’s 8-1-1. That one overtime loss for Ottawa, though? A 1-0 win for these very Caps, in Ottawa, exactly two weeks ago tonight. The Caps will look to repeat the results (albeit hopefully with more offense) before coming back to the friendly confines of DC.

Protas – Dubois – McMichael
Raddysh – Eller – Frank
Duhaime – Dowd – Mangiapane
Sandin – Carlson

Chychrun – van Riemsdyk

On this date in 1975: The Caps were in LA to face the Kings, and after clawing back to turn a 5-2 game into a 5-4 one, they ultimately lost 6-4. [Game Notes]
