Did Alex Ovechkin score? Nope.

Plus: The Caps have proven their resilience and their ability to come back in games time and time again this season, and they did so again tonight, hanging around with a couple of goals from Tom Wilson and then getting a tie after a sluggish first two periods.

Minus: Those sluggish periods, though, are becoming too frequent. Whether it’s midseason malaise or believing their own hype, they continue to start games late.

Our three stars:
*** John Carlson (2A, 700 career points)
** Aliaksei Protas (1G, 1A)
* Tom Wilson (2G)
