The Caps slumped their way to the end of October, dropping three straight and managing only two goals in that time, but hopefully that’s left behind with the flip of the calendar page, and they’ll be able to kick November off on a high note up in Buffalo. The Sabres are also on a three-game skid, so…someone’s got to snap out of it, right?

Pierre-Luc Dubois was once again injured last night and left the game and it’s doubtful he dresses tonight, and Dylan Strome is still an unknown, so…the lines will be players who play for the Caps (and maybe a Bear or two) plus the usual defensive pairs (minus Rasmus Sandin) and Charlie Lindgren in net. Beyond that, who knows?
