The Capitals will need to somehow have both a selective memory, taking the right lessons from last night’s OT loss, and a short one, to bounce back from said loss, as they head to Nashville to take on the Predators. So far this season, the Caps have been great at showing resiliency and stopping losing skids before they start – hopefully they can get back in the win column tonight against the Preds.

Expect to see the same lines as last night for this second of back-to-back games, with the biggest unknown probably being between the pipes after Charlie Lindgren left last night’s game with an injury early in the second period. Lindgren was placed on IR earlier today and the team recalled Hunter Shepard, but Coach Carbery is being cagey about whether it’ll be Shepard or Thompson so…stay tuned:
Ovechkin – Strome – Protas
McMichael – Dubois – Wilson
Raddysh – Eller – Frank
Duhaime – Dowd – Mangiapane
Sandin – Carlson
Chychrun – Roy
Fehervary – van Riemsdyk
Thompson / Shepard
