Capitals vs. Penguins Game Thread 1/18

Right this way to your Caps-Pens open thread…

Don’t look now, but the Capitals are suddenly on a little winning streak, having picked up victories in three straight and four of their last five games overall. They’ll be taking on a Penguins team that has run hot and cold all season long and has won just two of their last nine games, although they are coming in off a win over the Sabres in Buffalo last night (where goalie Alex Nedeljkovic scored a goal).

But if there’s one thing we know, it’s that it is never easy for the Caps against the Pens, who always bring their best game for the boys from DC – and did so back in November.
