Having gotten on a bit of a roll, the Caps now take their four-game winning streak on the road to face probably their toughest opponent in a few weeks in the Edmonton Oilers. They catch a bit of a break, as Connor McDavid will sit out tonight (and the next two games) on a suspension. As Alex Ovechkin so succinctly put it, “Sucks for him, good for us”.
But no McDavid doesn’t mean the Oilers, who sit one point behind Pacific Division-leading Vegas, are pushovers, and the Caps will need to bring their best game tonight in Edmonton.
