Plus: Lots to like about another workmanlike win in Toronto, but let’s give a shout-out to the special teams once again, as the boys killed off both penalties they took and scored a goal on their one and only power play. (Honorable mention to Logan Thompson, who was stellar in this one.)
Minus: The Caps were on their heels a bit in the second period, as Toronto pushed back after the Caps went up 2-1. As noted by Tarik El-Bashir during the intermission, second periods in general have been a struggle for the Caps this season.
