The Caps have been stumbling a bit of late, having dropped three in a row including two-straight in which they were outscored by a combined 10-1 margin. So…not really what we’re looking for, especially considering how tight the standings are. They return home tonight to face a Maple Leafs team going through some similar issues, having dropped three of their last five (although they are fresh off a win over Chicago back on Tuesday). Somebody’s gotta win this one, though, right?
