Much like two nights ago, the Caps will face a Western Conference team in the middle of the fight for one of the two Wild Card spots. Unlike two nights ago, this evening’s opponent is – for now – in one of those spots, and is probably pretty happy to just stay right there through the end of the regular season. Time for the Caps to put on their spoiler hats and try to ruin the Mammoth’s good time (and get a little revenge for the loss they suffered to this Utah team back in DC earlier in the month).
