Capitals vs. Jets Recap: No Win in Winnipeg, Caps Lose 3-0

Plus: No.

Minus: Everything after the first shot on net from Connor McMichael.

Key Moment: Not an exact moment, but rather several. There were many missed and flubbed passes which lead to offsides, icings and an overall lack of scoring opportunities (for the Caps, at least…the Jets, they had plenty).

Caps Player of the Game: Charlie Lindgren. He kept the team in the game while the offense couldn’t do anything, and the defense let him down.

Final Thoughts: The Jets outplayed the Capitals. Their cycle game was strong, keeping the Capitals stuck in their own zone. Meanwhile the Capitals were not able to muster any meaningful offense, and their very important road trip gets off to a very bad start.

On to Edmonton.
