Fresh off a big win over the Jackets that saw their defensemen pitch in with a handful of goals, the Caps now hit the ice for their traditional pre-Thanksgiving game at Capital One – this year against the visiting Winnipeg Jets. It’ll be a Jets team with a slightly different look than usual, however, as reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck is out with a knee injury. The Jets have dropped their last two games since losing Hellebuyck, but they’re not a pushover team by any stretch, and the Caps will need to bring the same effort to tonight’s game to pick up another win.
