With the series evened up, thanks to a solid (albeit imperfect) win at home on Thursday, the Caps now head to Raleigh and look to do exactly what Carolina did in Game 1: take a series lead on the road. To do so, they’ll need to replicate their efforts from Game 2 and then some. One of the best road teams in the league during the regular season gets set to face one of its best home teams…should be a good one.
First, some admin stuff for Game 3:
- Where: Lenovo Center
- When: 6:00 p.m.
- How to Watch: TNT, truTV, Max
- How to Listen: 106.7, Capitals Radio 24/7

It’s likely (but not confirmed) that the Caps will stick with the same slightly tweaked lineup that earned the win on Thursday, and as always, Logan Thompson between the pipes:
Ovechkin – Strome – Protas
McMichael – Dubois – Wilson
Mangiapane – Eller – Raddysh
Duhaime – Dowd – Beauvillier
Chychrun – Carlson
Sandin – Roy
Alexeyev – van Riemsdyk
