Plus: The Caps needed a better effort tonight than in Game 1, and they got just that. Yes, the bar was so low it was practically waiting in line to buy a ticket at the Metro station…but clear it they did, looking much more invested and capable of silencing the Canes’ manic attack (as much as one can calm a hamster hopped up on caffeine). Huge, huge game for big #43 in particular, leading the way.
Minus: Still a few too many unforced errors in this one, making it a little closer than it needed to be.
