While the Capitals are still clawing their way back to a fully healthy lineup, they will be as close as they’ve been in some time tonight when they get Tom Wilson back – fresh off an Olympic silver medal (and a bout with the other Olympic souvenir, a stomach virus). That’s good news for the team, as they get served up a back-to-back set of games, starting with tonight against visiting Vegas and wrapping up in Montreal tomorrow.
They’ll still be missing the services of John Carlson, as he nurses an injury that has him day-to-day, but it’ll be a relatively full roster with Logan Thompson facing his former squad tonight.
