Capitals vs. Flames Recap: Caps Guns Cooled By Flames in 3-1 Loss

Did Alex Ovechkin score? Yes! He got one in his lower office on the power play.

Plus: The Caps showed their usual resilience when falling behind, getting stronger as the night went on…although puck luck seemed to not be on their side tonight. It happens.

Minus: It stinks that the home streak of not losing in regulation since before Thanksgiving came to end. The Caps’ 15-goal weekend seemed to be their downfall tonight. Nothing came easy, as the Flames came out flying and the Caps were slow to start.
