Plus: The Caps battled hard on the road against a good team. Sometimes you just don’t win. Jake Oettinger, who owns the Caps, was on top of his game, and Roope Hintz, who also owns the Caps, scored twice. There’s nothing to be ashamed about.
Minus: Overall the Caps played well but they made too much of a habit to turn the puck over at their own blue line when trying to exit. It didn’t lead to any goals against but it still led to too many high danger chances for Dallas.
