Plus: The game ended.
Minus: Just about everything.

Key Moment: For some reason the second goal felt like the most hurtful. The Caps were playing well and the Coyotes just scored the first goal. A Coyote came down and ripped a shot from a distance that ramped off Alexei Protas’ stick and in. Something about that goal just hurt and it went all down hill from there.

Final Thoughts: This game felt like one of the games earlier in the season where everything the opponent touched just went into the net and everything the Caps touched the opponet got a stick on to block. The first four goals were either a perfect pass/shot or a lucky deflection goal. The fifth and sixth goals were terrible though, two bad turnovers that can’t happen.

You get about five games a season where you burn the tape and move on. The Caps already used one on the Edmonton Oilers game, this is certainly the second one. Things don’t get easier as the Caps have to take on the Dallas Stars when they return home. They’ll need to get their shit together before that game begins.
