Just 11 games remain on the Capitals’ regular-season slate, eight of which will be played away from DC. The first of those is tonight, as the Caps kick off a three-game Western Conference road trip in St. Louis. The Blues find themselves in a similar situation to the Caps, still technically in the playoff race but not really with a realistic shot – and like the Caps, have been on something of a hot street of late, going 7-1-2 in their last 10.
