With the 155th pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, the Washington Capitals have selected forward Jackson Crowder from the Chicago Steel of the USHL.
A hard worker with physical skills, Crowder has a clear identity as a checking forward. He wins battles and immediately finds an open teammate. Around the net, he’s always open, battling, or both. He keeps his glued to the ice, controls his speed to stay open, and then lines up opponents if nothing materializes.
