The 2021-22 season marks the return of the (hopefully) full 82-game slate, after one of the weirdest seasons in recent memory. With fans back in the building (again, hopefully), the Caps will kick off a three-game homestand with the season opener at Capital One Arena against the Rangers on October 13, followed by their first road game – a quick jaunt up to New Jersey – the following Thursdsay.
