.688 - Points percentage for Peter Laviolette’s Capitals this season, marking the highest points percentage of any first-year coach in franchise history (and the fourth-best of any Caps team).

With last night’s win over the Bruins, Laviolette also moved into a tie with John Tortorella for the most wins by an American coach in NHL history - and getting to that total in 117 fewer games, with an impressive career line of 673-440-25-128.
