A look at the Caps’ lack of success with the goalie on the bench

0 - Number of times the Capitals have scored after pulling their goalie for the extra man this season, one of just two teams (along with Los Angeles) to not yet have a six-on-five goal.

They haven’t had a ton of chances to do so, of course; per, the Caps have pulled the goalie just 10 times this year - the second-lowest behind only Boston (8). But they’ve given up a goal in eight of those ten games and failed to get a boost at the other end of the ice, a stark contrast to last season when they capitalized nine times.
