Capitals vs. Penguins Game Thread

After a two-month separation, the Caps and Pens renew acquaintances for the first of two in DC

The Caps and Penguins haven’t seen each other in over two months, the last meeting coming about six weeks into the season. Both teams have added some new pieces since that last game, and both have surged up the standings to occupy the top two spots in the East.

The Pens have won four of the six so far (although three of those four wins were in OT or via the shootout), so the Caps into the final two-game set of the season with looking to even up the season series (and maintain their hold on first place).
