1.77 - The number of five-on-five goals allowed per game this season by the Caps, their lowest rate in the last four seasons, with just 55 goals given up at even and full strength.

The Caps have given up just two goals at five on five in their last four games - both in their loss to the Rangers - and have given up two or fewer in each of their last six games, in 16 of their last 20, and all but eight games overall this season.

The Caps have an xGA rate of 1.93/game at five on five this season, the fourth-lowest rate in the NHL and their lowest rate in the last five seasons (h/t Caps Today).
