A five-game road trip gets underway today as the Caps hit the ice in Newark, with the first of back-to-back matinees against the Devils. And after missing practice yesterday, Alex Ovechkin will be in the lineup per Coach Laviolette:

When asked if that was workload related or if Ovechkin was dinged up, Laviolette replied laughing: "The maintenance day? The maintenance day was for maintenance."
