620 - Number of times in his career that Alex Ovechkin has registered at least five shots on goal in a single game, including last night’s loss to Tampa. That’s the most by any player in NHL history, leading second-place Ray Bourque by almost 40 games, and easily the most by any player during Ovechkin’s career (Eric Staal holds the second spot with just 266 over that span).

Of course, while those shots last night (six total, plus a few that were blocked) failed to find the back of the net, marking the first time this season that Ovechkin has not scored at least one goal in a game... it was just the 265th time out of those 620 games that he put up at least five shots and didn’t score.
