.813 - The Capitals’ points percentage in October, with a record of 5-0-3 in their first eight games. That’s the team’s best October points percentage in franchise history, and the first time they’ve wrapped up October without a regulation loss.
They are also one of three teams remaining in the NHL this year to not have a loss in regulation yet, joining Carolina and Wednesday’s opponent, the Florida Panthers.
