3.97 - Average goals per game scored by the Capitals when Ilya Samsonov has been in net this season. That’s tops among all goalies appearing in at least 20 games so far this year; not all that surprising, as the Caps are tied with Toronto and Tampa for the third-highest goals-per-game rate overall.

What may be slightly more unexpected is that it’s the second-highest per-game rate of any goalie (again, min. 20 games) in the Alex Ovechkin era; only Louis Domingue got more run support from the 2018-19 Lightning, with his teammates putting up a whopping 4.11 goals when he was in net.
