28 - Number of minors taken by Brenden Dillon so far this season, which leads the League (narrowly beating out his new teammate Tom Wilson, who has 27).

Dillon has already showcased his pugnacious side in his limited time in DC, taking a minor in his second game with the Caps against the Devils, adding a now infamous double-minor against the Penguins, and picking up another two in last night’s loss.

This is nothing new for Dillon, who has racked up the PIMs over the course of his hard-nosed career. His eight penalty minutes since joining the Caps put him at 91 for the season, five more than his previous career high with 18 games left to go.
