Bye Week Bracket: The Biggest Villain Final Round

It all began with a pool of 16.

Then it was whittled down to a field of 8.

Then a Penguin-heavy final four emerged from the competition.

And now, here we are – the big championship duel, the round to determine who will go down in history as the greatest villain the Caps have ever known:

Sidney Crosby vs. Jaroslav Halak.

One has spent more than a decade tormenting the Caps as a frequent foil for Washington’s own superstar phenom. The other authored one of the most crushing, franchise-altering postseason defeats the team has seen in decades.

So who takes the crown? Who emerges from the group with the title of utmost infamy? Who reigns supreme as the ultimate villain?

Your votes will decide, so be sure to make your voice heard; reminder, the poll closes at 11:59 p.m. ET tonight, and the final results will be revealed tomorrow at noon.
