...the number of seasons Alex Ovechkin will have appeared in when he takes the ice on opening night, tying him with Calle Johansson for the most seasons as a Capital. Ovechkin already holds the franchise record in games played with 1084 (passing Johansson for that honor back in 2017-18), and is currently the team leader in all-time goals (658), points (1211), power-play goals (247), power-play points (464), game-winning goals (107) and overtime winners (22).
