2019 NHL Draft: Preview, How to Watch and Open Thread

It’s time once again for the Capitals to build for the future and select the next generation of rockin’ red NHLers, as the 2019 NHL Entry Draft gets underway tonight in Vancouver.

The Caps will have just five picks in this weekend’s draft, having sent their third round pick to LA in exchange for Carl Hagelin earlier this year and shipping their sixth-round pick to the Canucks in order to move up in the sixth last summer. They also traded away their fifth-round selection to Montreal last year for Jakub Jerabek, but acquired Buffalo’s fifth as part of the Madison Bowey/Nick Jensen swap with Detroit.
