DSP and the Caps’ fourth-line were absolutely buzzing early on, creating chances left and right hustling like it was - quite literally - their job.
And then the Caps drew first blood. On the power play, Nicklas Backstrom followed up his own rebound and buried it, giving the Capitals a 1-0 lead after twenty minutes in this one.
