Oshie has taken 80 turns in the shootout over the course of his 11-year career – 12th-most in the League – and scored on 42 of them (third-most), including his shootout goal in Sunday’s win.
Since joining the Caps in 2015, Oshie has taken 21 shootout attempts – tied with Evgeny Kuznetsov for the team lead – and scored 11 times for a team-best success rate of 52.4% (min. three attempts).
Of course, that should come as no surprise to anyone who watched the Olympics:
