65.35 - Even-strength CF% for Jakub Vrana since March 1, which leads the League over that span (min. 50 minutes TOI). That puts him just ahead of teammates Lars Eller (64.55) and T.J. Oshie (64.45), third and fourth respectively, and Nicklas Backstrom, who checks in at seventh with a CF% of 63.68. In fact, six of the top 20 even-strength CF percentages since the start of the month are on the current Caps’ roster (and that group accounts for 14 of the team’s 28 even-strength goals scored this month).

The fact that so many of the Caps have been top performers in this department speaks to the team’s overall improvement when it comes to out-attempting their opponents. The Caps’ CF% rating is a third-best 56.81 in March, a massive upswing from the 48.09 they were boasting from the start of the season through the end of February.
